Our Inquiry Science Fair

Today, Tamaki Primary School celebrated our topic of 'Discoveries' with a science fair. All 10 classes shared their discoveries that they had made from throughout the term.

Two things I found really interesting to find out at the science fair were that the extinction of dinosaurs occurred by dust and water vapour filling the sky, blocking out sunlight all over the world. Plants and animals died from the intense cold and lack of this event. Later, the dust settled and the vapour clouds trapped the sun's heat, killing more dinosaurs...
