Ministry of Education - Hekia Parata Visits our school

Last week we had the Ministry of Education (Hekia Parata) visit our school. We had our school band ready to sing a song called valarie. We had three students say a speech to welcome Hekia Parata to our school hall. The Ministry of Education had a great time and so did we. Please leave a comment.

My Family Tree Poem

Dear family tree,

Do you know what you seem to be? Each branch and twig are parts that are covered with your leafy green wig.

Each apple that grows on the end of our branches. Are the same as our family that does our cultural dances. Seeing you grow when each year goes by, Our family family tree grows stronger and taller into the sky.

Like branches on a tree, we grow different ways. But our roots stay. Each of our lives will always be on the other side.
